Construction and Appearance. These Rock Slide Engineering 3rd Gen Step Sliders are made from 10-gauge steel, while the internals are composed of stainless steel and aluminum. They are finished in a textured black powder coat to look amazing and fight off corrosion.
Get Your Motor Up. These step sliders employ smart motor technology to work properly no matter the conditions. The step will deploy 12 inches down from the body of the slider when the door is opened, then the step retracts to sit flush with the body of the step slider after the door is closed. The sliders even have a sleep mode to cut down on battery drainage.
Installation. Putting these Rock Slide Engineering 3rd Gen Step Sliders on your Bronco isn't too challenging. They use the factory mounting points for a no-drill installation. There is a stand-alone wire harness so you won't need to splice or re-wire.
